A day on the snow is meant to be the easy part. Getting forty people up an alpine road in the middle of winter — in a convoy of cars, half of them fitting chains for the first time — is not. We take the driving problem off your group entirely.
Why a coach beats a convoy
Spread a group across a dozen cars and you lose people to wrong turns, late starts and resort car parks that fill early in peak season. On a chartered coach everyone leaves together and arrives together. The driver knows the road, carries the chains and handles the conditions, and the group spends the trip talking or sleeping rather than gripping a wheel.
The three mountains we run
Mt Buller is the closest of the three to Melbourne and the one we run most often, as a day trip or with transport up and back for a weekend. Mt Hotham is further and higher, and works the same two ways. Falls Creek we run for groups who want the village at the top of the hill rather than a day at the lifts.
We do not sell lift passes or accommodation. This is transport — you keep control of the rest of the trip, which is what most ski clubs and workplaces actually want.
Group size is the one real constraint
Snow charters run on our 48-seat coaches as private group bookings, and we recommend a minimum of around 40 passengers. That is where a private coach genuinely earns its keep per head against every other option. Below that number we will tell you honestly that the maths does not work rather than sell you a coach with twenty empty seats.

Yes. Our coaches are equipped for alpine conditions and our drivers are experienced on the resort roads. Chain fitting is our job, not something your group needs to think about.
